Congratulations to Federal Way High School scholar Victoria for being selected for the 2024-25 KEXP 90.TEEN DJ internship program!

Victoria's selection for this incredible opportunity is a testament to her passion for music and dedication to personal growth.  The KEXP 90.TEEN DJ program empowers high school students to explore careers in music and media, providing hands-on training in live DJing, music curation, and audio production. 

Participants also gain valuable mentorship from KEXP staff while sharing music with a global audience of listeners.

Congratulations to Todd Beamer High School scholar Andrew for being awarded the prestigious AFJROTC Flight Academy Scholarship

Andrew is one of just 194 AFJROTC cadets nationwide selected for this incredible opportunity out of more than 1,200 applicants. This summer, he will attend a university flight program, earning college credit and his private pilot's license—fully funded by the United States Air Force.

We are FWPS Proud of Andrew for his exceptional achievement and for embodying Goal 5 of our strategic plan: persistently pursuing his passions and developing skills for future success.
